When the lights go out and humans fall asleep, the neighborhood comes alive with things that shouldn't move, and yet do.
Players take the roles of ordinary nocturnal animals (a cat, a dog, an owl, a raccoon) caught in strange, supernatural events lurking in backyards and empty streets.

No words are spoken.
In Nights in the Neighborhood, communication happens through gestures, movements, and silent understanding. Players narrate their actions, interpret emotions, and rely on instinct rather than speech, immersing themselves in a world where language has vanished, but meaning hasn't.

Each animal faces its own limitations and talents, forcing deep cooperation: where one senses danger, another must act, and another must hide. Together, they uncover mysteries that defy reason.

Conflict is resolved through a unique chaotic system using cards and coins, creating unpredictable outcomes that mirror the confusion and danger of facing the unknown without reason or words.
